This is another new build, this time the KLINGON BIRD OF PREY fully lighted with glowing engines and other features.

• Lighted photon torpedo launcher and surrounding RED lights 
• Glazed clear cabin windows and lighted
• Lighted Klingon logo on the custom made base
• Magnetic landing feet
• Articulated wings that can move up and down

I decided to go with an unusual Grey colour paint scheme.

REVELL 1/72 CONCORDE model kit fully lighted pro build

This my latest build the large scale CONCORDE model kit made by Revell and is 1/72 scale measuring a huge 34" long! I built this for a client who requested it to be in flight mode and fully lighted with engine afterburner effects.
It has taken about 3 months to complete and what a stunner she is with those elegant lines and finished in pure white like a beautiful Swan, but this kit is definitely a CHALLENGE!!! with lots of the parts not fitting or aligning properly and causing many battles and headaches Lol.
I had the Anti collision flashing lights circuit board made specifically for this model and all the other lighting done by myself, the model is powered by a 12v mains power adaptor and I also made a custom base/stand, the cockpit / flight deck is also lighted and the controls can clearly be seen from outside.
Here is a video of it though the quality is poor you can see the lights all working including the engine afterburners.

JJ Abram's U.S.S. RELIANT 1864

                                                                    

This is a concept model of the Star Trek RELIANT and is the only one in the world, Although the reliant has not yet made an appearance in these 2009 & 2013 films directed by JJ Abram’s, many fans would like to see her in this rebooted disguise and so here she is.

Professionally built by my me using parts from two kits (REVELL & AMT ARTL) with some custom parts added or changed, fully lighted with correct blink/flash rate on the Navigation and strobe lights using a circuit board and the front of the warp buzzards have 3D spinner/fan blades made to, extensive Aztec hull plating has been airbrushed on and lit using LED’s, it is fitted with a 9volt battery clip in the underside of the base and also has a power jack / socket for a 12 volt DC, the base is made from wood with a faux leather effect to it and a emblem with the wording USS RELIANT, I have used fibre optic cable for the Navigation and strobe lights to make it to scale and the very top part of the model is now the main deflector dish housing with a small cargo/shuttle bay at the rear of it so this version now has 3 cargo/shuttle bays, and at the very top of this new section is the Photon torpedo launchers forward and rear facing, another modification that I like is the red glowing parts that sit between the main bridge and the impulse engines, I had to make up my own registry marking Decals, the whole project took me about 6 weeks to complete working most evenings, I did have a client who was going to buy it but due to unforeseen circumstances he could no longer afford to buy it.

This my kit bash model of the U.S.S ENTERPRISE 1701 and is the only one in the world, Built using parts from two kits (REVELL 1/500 jjprise& AMT 1/537 reliant) with some custom parts added or changed, fully lighted with Navigation and strobe lights using a circuit board, extensive Aztec hull plating has been airbrushed on and lighted using LED’s & powered by a 12 v adaptor.

This has left over parts from my JJReliant build which are the warp nacelles that have been modified, shortened and the front of the warp buzzards have a mesh grill and on top of the nacelles are blue lighted flux grills; the bridge is also from the Reliant and I modified the deflector dish housing so the deflector itself now sits further in as opposed to poking out, other mods include the neck and photon launcher and decals are a mix of Revell and AMT, this build took about 4 weeks to complete.
